Air Temp: Displays the current outdoor air temperature near your pool equipment.
Pool Temp: Displays the current pool water temperature when the filter pump is running and the system is NOT in Spa mode.
Spa Temp: Displays the current spa water temperature when the filter pump is running and the system is in Spa mode.
Set Temp (Pool / Spa): Displays the target temperature settings for both the pool and the spa. When selected one can set the desired target temperature for the Pool or Spa
Example:
- Pool 81° / Spa 91° means:
- The pool heater will heat up to 81°F when enabled.
- The heater will heat up to 91°F when spa mode is active and spa heat enabled.
Tip:
- Setting a temperature does not turn the heater ON. One must also enable the corresponding heater (Pool Heater or Spa Heater) and mode.
Spa Mode: Switches water circulation between pool operation and spa operation by repositioning the automatic valves (actuators).
When Spa Mode is Enabled:
- The automatic actuators move the inlet and return valves to the Spa position
- The filter pump will temporarily turn off for approximately 1 minute to allow the valves to rotate safely
- After the valves finish moving, the filter pump will automatically restart
- Spa temperature is now active
When Spa Mode is Disabled:
- The automatic actuators move the inlet and return valves back to the Pool position
- The filter pump will temporarily turn off for approximately 1 minute to allow the valves to rotate
- Once valve movement is complete, the filter pump will automatically restart
- Pool temperature is now active
Filter Pump: Starts and Stops the filter pump.
If the heater was operating, the pump will continue running for approximately 5 minutes after being turned off. This cooldown period allows the heater to safely dissipate residual heat before the pump fully stops.
Spa Heater: Will start the heater and heat the water up to the Spa Set Temperature when the Filter Pump is running and the Spa Mode is enabled.
Pool Heater: Will start the heater and heat the water up to the Pool Set Temperature when the Filter Pump is running Spa Mode is disabled.
